So my camera decided to work when it wants to. At times it comes on but the camera looks fuzzy and the colors start to bug out. I am not sure if i have a poor connection issue or if the camera is starting to take a dump. Purchased a neutral safety switch but im feeling lazy to go swap it on...

buy a cheap lincoln on offerup or craigslist and go to town. Make sure you use gas and not a flux core if you want a clean setup. Id just place a round disk under it then weld that disk inplace from the outside then bondo to fill in the void of the disk then paint. no fiberglass, no no.

I made a setup which mounts on the overhead liner. It allows you to mount you rflashlight and USB on it. I need to find the pix.

Usually you can get away with unplugging the alarm unit as long as it doesnt have a relay that needs to be powered to allow the car to crank up?

i WAS quoted about $100 to install a back up camera and a head unit. I found that to be cheap but hey its south florida. :)

That looks like the switch on my 2012. My rear camera is acting up and im wondering if this has somethign to do with it?
