My 2012 4r has issues with the back up camera, any tips?

So my camera decided to work when it wants to. At times it comes on but the camera looks fuzzy and the colors start to bug out.

I am not sure if i have a poor connection issue or if the camera is starting to take a dump. Purchased a neutral safety switch but im feeling lazy to go swap it on the transmission. Anyone have the part number to the OEM rear camera? WHen i search online all i see are these after market ones and im not sure if they blug in the same.

Im even considering just swapping out the head unit and go with an all new system bypassing the toyota setup, "help me obiwan kenobi, your my only hope. "

You need to have a little more patience, the weekend is slow on these forums most are out enjoying their time off work!

I did a simple online search that anyone can do and found the camera part number within a few minutes, less time than it took me to type this post....

That all being said and done, the price of a new OEM camera is way up there, ridiculous as is most OEM parts if you ask me, if I were you I would seek one out from a savage yards for next to nothing!!

lol, i only wrote that because i finally got by my 15 min post limit and wasnt sure if this was visible to the public.
Wonder if there are aftermarket ones that I can use in its place?

I would think you could find an aftermarket one that could work in place of the OEM camera, but you may want to post this question in the 5th Gen forum because I'm sure someone with a 5th Gen has had to replace their's at some point.

So my little brother 1999 camry 4cyc is getting hot. The thermostat seems okay and there is no obvious leaks. The heater in the car stopped working. After doing a little research I think it's the water pump. The question is should I try to do it myself at home. I have the tools to do so and a basic knowledge on cars and mechanical stuff in general. Most importantly I have YouTube. But messing with the timing belt and all that is a little intimidating. I'm not afraid of working hard for a day or two. The mechanic I know is trying to charge 470 bucks to come to the house and fix it. I'm not gonna do that. Any advice.
