I am looking into putting a android auto touch screen head unit in my 2011. Currently the truck has a standard radio/no touch screen radio. Wondering if anyone here has done this and if you have any recommendations on which head unit to use... issues and solutions for good fitment etc

Really nice work man. I went lazy on this one and just used victory4x4's pre-made ones. As gimmicky of an idea as it seams i personally use the crap out of them, keeps all my essentials I want in the truck but leaves floor space for the groceries.

You might need to look into weight limits on your factory rails before you consider sleeping on them. I'm not familiar with 09, but i know on my 11 the factory rails are really only designed to handle the weight of one person even when you aren't moving. I went with Rhinoracks pioneer platform...
