Android Auto Head Unit

I am looking into putting a android auto touch screen head unit in my 2011. Currently the truck has a standard radio/no touch screen radio. Wondering if anyone here has done this and if you have any recommendations on which head unit to use... issues and solutions for good fitment etc

I've seen the earlier 5th gens use the T9 & T10 head unit. You can research it on this forum or online.
