dudee, my 94 sr5 is IDENTICAL to yours, that first pic, i thought someone stole my rig and took pics of it. thats how close they are. but i want it to have the same look as yours. what lift and tires do you have on her?

well heard back from them, ended up being a "bad" axle from the factory on the right side. i call complete bulls@$!. he said i could swamp the axles out for a new one at advance but hed have to charge me another 40 dollars to reinstall it. and the funny thing is, its my uncles shop. gotta love...

yea its either coming from the front or the middle, but it only make sense that its coming from up front where the axles were replaced, you can feel the thump in your feet just a tiny bit, and yea it gets faster and louder the more you accelerate.

do away with the whole running boards, looks 10 times better, gives it a lifted look, and they get in the way if you go offroading, as the other guy said.

it was done at a shop, and i called them and took it back down there tonight, for them to fix tomorrow. and thanks for the info, didnt know the axles still spun in 2wd, and no mines got auto hubs. any info on what it could be making the noise?

stay away from buying at a stealership man, i went to a car auction in my area, and ended up getting a 94 4runner thats runs perfect for $2200 bucks. your getting ripped off highly. you should be able to find alot on craigslist for 3000 or so in the same condition as those. be careful at an...

im nowhere near an expert but common sense tells me if the little plastic slider protector is missing then its probably been worked on regaurding the tranny, my buddies samurai would get stuck in reverse and he had to take that little cover off and take a screwdriver down into it to get it out...

my trucks back window would not roll down unless you pulled it down yourself and it ended up being the clips that connect to the window that the rollers make contact with to roll it up and down, your motor for the window is most likely bad, or not getting a good connection. about the shifting...

youd be extremely lucky to even find a 90s model t4r with no rust around the fenderwells, my 94 has it, nothing to be to concerned with, but like i said, expect even a 90s model to have a little rust around there.

im glad i keep mine in the garage, id hate to have to shoot somebody haha..
