Threw some Bilstein 5100’s in, along with OME 895e for the rear. Vise grips, channel locks, and lots of PB didn’t work so reciprocating saw it is! Tomorrow is front with 5100/883 and new KYB top hats, excited to see how everything turns out.

If you’re getting a pair of the 06+ taillights aftermarket is fine. (TRQ/ 1AAuto/Amazon) The only gripe I have with aftermarket taillights is if you already have OEM ones and replace 1 side, you can definitely tell a difference in brightness from the LEDs.

Tailgate swap Couldn’t wait until Saturday afternoon, so I was able to swap the tailgate pretty quickly this evening with max effort. Still have to swap the lock mechanism, exterior trim garnish and black cover under piece for the handle. Excited to have a spoiler back!

Appreciate it, the side mirrors were the last cosmetic thing I wanted to swap from chrome. I was able to grab a 2015 Yaris headunit from EBay so just waiting on that and the harnesses to come in.

Snagged this locally for $100. My current tailgate with no spoiler has 4 dollar coin size rust spots with 2 of them poking through the backside. Excited to put this on with new window seals and lift struts. Also will swap out the lock mechanism too. A few chip paints spots from prying probably...

Color matched Swapped out the black side mirrors for colored matched ones.

New Grille Finally installed the color matched grille and removed the raptor lights. Body paint hasn’t been buffed since owning 2018, definitely can tell if you stare hard enough the grille is darker.

Swapped out 4 door handles, and rear trunk piece for colored matched ones. Also put in a new rear wiper blade.

Cleaned up the headlights, saw a Turtlewax kit in the clearance section and decided to try it.
