Appreciate it, the side mirrors were the last cosmetic thing I wanted to swap from chrome. I was able to grab a 2015 Yaris headunit from EBay so just waiting on that and the harnesses to come in.

Replaced the yellow bulbs for LED, love how it looks !

reworking someone elses botched brake work.
Bled and flushed the system a second time. First time dark brown and a really spongy pad after a shop allegedly changed the pads and a front caliper. Without bleeding and flushing the system. Still pulls to the left. Suspect a sticky caliper as the first flush had some nasty fluid, and the pedal is now rock hard.
Will check pads and if the left is worn more than the right, reman caliper for the right and fresh akebonos.
It's a v6 so got a casting number for the v6 please?

I huffed and I puffed and I removed the bank 1 downstream o2 so I could fit a spacer on it and hopefully avoid CEL.
Very difficult task. Took about an hour. Bendy wrenches would help. The magical combo for me ended up being o2 sensor socket with small ratchet on the end, and a jack handle on the ratchet. There was just enough clearance to break the sensor loose. The truck is a joy to work on but post-cat o2 sensors are not one of those items.

If you have JBL, you do have to splice a few wires on a new harness to connect to an existing one. Besides that, yes plug & play.

Both videos cover what's needed for harnesses and such. And yes all controls work, before my skip or next button would only change the input (AUX, FM, AM) but now I can go the next song and my MODE button works as intended.
Head unit is from a Yaris 2015 I believe, part number: PT546-52150

Bought the torque pro app to measure transmission temp (4R is new to me). It reached 180 in a long uphill but average was 165F. No idea what the benchmark is …
And visited the 4R’s fav place … with the window down of course :eyebrows:
Generally speaking the transmission temperatures should under normal operation be around the same as engine temperature, if towing you will see higher temperatures going up hills, in traffic, etc., if you start seeing temperatures upp around and above 230 degrees for any extended time it's best to stop and let it cool down a bit, if you don't have a external ATF cooler adding one will help.

If you don't tow I doubt you need to install a cooler unless you start seeing transmission temperatures going above 200 degrees regularly.

Another milestone. I love this truck. She’s also old enough to vote now, having been manufactured in September 2006.
[MENTION=789080]Dave4RCR[/MENTION] - here are the transmission temp parameters. You’re good under 230F. For context, I have an external cooler and had transient temps of up to 229F recently while towing 4000 lbs. in hilly terrain. Never got any higher.
I parallel parked that in Lake Placid. Had enough space to pull up to the curb. Parking enforcement happened by and said we were good as long as we paid for two spaces.

Thanks! The bumper is by Lost Trails Overland. Terrific on all counts - product, customer service, and installation. Reasonable shipping cost, too. I had given up on a winch bumper because I wanted a subtle one and couldn't find one I liked. IMO, this looks like what a factory winch bumper would look like had Toyota offered the option. Has a light bar shelf too but that's a future project. More pics:
Note the black lower valance that must be cut out.
The bumper/winch combo is heavy but a floor jack makes installation ridiculously easy. Lift it, roll back until the frame bolts are through the mounting holes, tighten down the nuts, done.
Finished. The light bar mounts behind the mesh.
