Many thanks for the info. I think I might clean up the area very well and put some fluorescent dye in there, then drive it around for a day and see exactly where it’s leaking. I suspect mine might be leaking in the same place.

After >130,000 miles and 11 years of ownership, I have my first issue! Not bad. I did a little searching around but didn’t find one. This must not be a very common issue since it seems there are DIY for just about everything else. It’s only weeping now and not “leaking” so it’s not urgent.

Same here. Bought an FJ in 2007. 7th one off the assembly line. Replaced it with my 5th gen in December 2009. Again pretty early production number. It’s been flawless ever since. I still have it but also just picked up a 2021 Tacoma Pro (with manual) it might be best Yota yet.

Wow. That’s my worst nightmare. I use the HF jack stands but always wished for something better. Northern tool has a couple 6 ton options but I’m pretty sure one of them must be made in the same factory as HF. There is one pair for $169 I was thinking of getting. Still cheaper than hospital...

Pads are different front and rear. Go to the Toyota dealership and buy pads there.(in my opinion). Have you measured your rotors?
