I had a similar issue. It turned out to be a bolt that I had removed to get rid of an unused bracket. It is drilled all the way thru the intake plenum. Lets it suck air and idle like crap.

Why not get the strong ones and just drill/tap a small hole on the backside for your own grease zerk? Just remember to not over fill them or you might do more harm than good.

Ok, but is it really that easy to pull? I've only rebuilt a sbc350. It was very simple. I could use the fork-lift at work for the pull. Maby... Does anyone know about how much the engine and trany weigh when still bolted together?

So in my 3vze is seeping oil. Agein. Its coming from the right rear cam shaft seal for sure and possibly the rear main. I'm planning to drop the trans. Replace both the rear cam seals and the rear main along with the clutch as I have a new one. I'm also going to do the crossover removal mod. Fix...

I would add some liquid lubricant to both of the window tracks and insure it runs down past where ever it got stuck. Then I would try to lift up on the bottom of the window on the side thats down. This is just speculation.... What does it do if you try to roll it down?

When you say Do you mean it just cranks and cranks or has no power at all? Mine did something similar with no power sometimes and power at others. I had my son sit in the driver seat with the key to the (on) position. Went under the hood and started moving wires until the dash lit back up...
