Did you have the key in the "ON" position while bleeding? Actually you don't need to vacuum bleed the rears, there are quite a few threads about using the 4R's pump to help you bleed the rears.

Just picked up my 08 4runner and first thing I want to do is the radio upgrade. Looking at the T1819, but most I have found are not coming with the factory wiring. I'm assuming it's not really needed, as adapters are needed anyways for use in the 4R. Or are they?
