Has anyone ever replaced the ball joint boot on factory upper control arms? If so, any issues with doing so? Mine has not split yet but there are some cracks in the boot itself. I see that Toyota does sell the following part, 43324-69085. Thanks.

Finally got the lower control arms replaced. The truck has 350k miles on it. From what I can tell they were the original ones. None of the hardware was seized but since I ordered all new cams and bolts I installed them. Now I need to find an alignment shop local to me.

I think you are fine. There is a bit of play or movement of the axle relative to the transfer case once installed. I had the same concerns when I replaced my first set 100k miles ago. As far as the seal goes, I would leave it alone.

Not sure. I got mine as part of the valve grind gasket kit. I know you can check online, but I would call your local dealer to confirm. My local parts guy will share diagrams and part numbers so you can be sure you are getting the right part.
