Rear window motor is constantly stuck from southwest dust. Weak crossmember bolt attachpoints between tranny and t-case. Besides that I've bashed it pretty well for 50k miles and it seems like it will be as reliable as my old taco.
What are your thoughts about a front locker And aftermarket stock length lca's? Break any cvs yet? Where did you get the work done? Your rig looks killer!
Nice to see some other people doing mild lifts with the turd pro suspension. I have zero rubbing with 255/80/17 (true 33's) skinnies with stock trd pro suspension. Going to put a Icon 2" coil in the rear with a toytec 1" spacer in front for some extra lift though...
You can spend a lifetime exploring this state. Endless forest roads and public lands. It's hot but there are riparian zones just outside of the Phoenix metro where temperatures drop 20 degrees and the water is Cold. 7 springs to sheeps bridge north of Carefree is a good start. Check out azfj.org...
I put a Tepui tent on top. Was surprised to find out that it improved the handling on graded roads. Ass dosent kick out as easily anymore due to added weight over rear axle.
After searching long and hard to find w75 for the t-case and 75-80 for the diffs I gave up and decided it was worth it to let the dealer do my service. I called up the local dealer and they said they had the correct weights. Price wasnt too bad at $200.
Word to the wise. Check your invoice...
Fully stuffed tires. I even took my front swaybar off and stuff with tires at an angle. My new sig pic is with the coopers and the sway bar delete. No rubbing at all.
Here is a before/after tire install + sway bar delete. A lot more flex and taller tires with no rubbing.
