Is it the same as 'wandering'? I get this (steering shimmy) from time to time when going over a rough surface, stock and after the lift/wheel/tire.

After the hood and fender matches, they now don't match the rest of the truck. Dealer will then tell you to blend the rest. I'd say leave it. You'll be the only one to notice that the hood is not 100% match unless you point it out, of course it is a different story if this dealer or the shop...

I have this on all of my cars and cars in the past. Only the 4runner is short about 2 inches on each side. I do see why it was designed the way it is, it would be troublesome to put on if it is longer. That said, the construction is good and does block a lot of heat.
