Has anyone here been there before? I found a lot of youtube videos of jeeps and it looks like fun. I'll probably check it out after New Years.

Does anyone know of any other off-road spots near the Orlando area?

I run ONF some but never off the main numbered dirt/sand road in the Runner - I use the KTM for all that stuff.

I did run it in my old tuck but some of the trails get so narrow it give you pin stripes and I don't want my nicer rig busted up just yet so it's KTM only.

Fun day trip in the woods. Expect deep sand in some spots, some little hill climbs or pits to crawl up around and water. 90% of the water has a hard packed bottom. And miles of numbered dirt roads.

I wanna go! We should see if we can get a bunch of FL peeps to join in. I only have 2wd though, so I might need a tow from time to time.

Hey guys I've been in Orlando for a few months now and dying to hit up Ocala NF. I'm down for a group trail ride after the first of the year!

There used to be an awesome off-road park up there called Hard Rock. Not sure if it's still open, but that would be a good place for a group meet.

Hey everybody, I'm up in Jacksonville but I would be interested in doing this if we get a group together.

I would be totally game, I went over Thanks Giving, will post some pictures and possibly a video if you all would be interested in some of what's out there.

Would the second or third week of January work for you guys? And do we want to hit the Ocala NF or the Moto park?

First week in February would be better for me, work will really frown upon me missing time in January due to our current project. Unless it's in the middle of the week then I can go at the drop of a hat. (My days off are Tues Wed Thurs I know weird...)

If any one was interested here's a link to a few of the photo's I took from my Girlfriend (and camera woman)'s trip to Ocala National Forrest. (I'm really green here at T4R and don't know if I'm going over post data limits and such please let me know) We did a little exploring looking for a good primitive (read rub sticks together for fire primitive) camp ground and ended up finding a secluded little spot just off a map marked (no sign posts) 4x4 trail. Luck for us it was only a half mile more of trail to to range road. Where we spend the morning after our inna-woods adventure punching holes in paper.

Then what got the truck really muddy, This was off the side of the turnpike on the way home from Ocala. Couldn't pass up a mud pit. (I had no idea how dirty a truck could get, also known as I discovered a very inefficient way to transport 100lbs of pure Florida Black Sand)

First weekend in February could work for me. When you went did you use an Ocala NF trail map?

Wish I could make it up there with u guys. Unfortunately I'll be in New York for The Super Bowl. I'd love to meet up sometime with guys and tear up some trails. Y'all plan on camping out there or making a day trip

Looks like we have 4 or 5 guys interested. How about scheduling a meet up for Saturday, February 1st.
