I don't know if I would call it a POS, have you ever been in 1 it's really nice, might have weak tie rods but I think that should be taken up with GM, how can you advertise a truck in offroad commercials and then this stuff breaks

Look at what the warranty company says are typical problems below.

Civilians could get the near-military Hummer until about 1997 or so. Then they changed some stuff, I think mostly the engine but the guts of the truck were still the mil-spec. Then the H2 came out - ugh. All sizzle, no steak. Even original Hummer owners are disgusted by them. Our 4Runners are 100 times tougher than the H2.

I am excited about the H1 Alpha coming out. Wish I had the $$ for one, then I would look into them more...but the H2 is a mondo poser IMHO.
I think it will be interesting to see how many stay on the road (or off?) in 15 years. My T4R will be 16 this year.
