I don't care how old I get..I will always refer and continue to play the amazing series of Kingdom Hearts. Amazing writing from the Square Enix team (Final Fantasy) and Story Telling with Disney. The gameplay and story is amazing.
In 2004 I was 14 years old and a friend told me to play it. I looked at the cover and immediate thought it was a "baby game" because of the Disney Characters. I thought it looked very corny. I grew up on Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and other greats.
20 years later, the series of Kingdom Hearts is still going strong and the story is still compelling and a little confusing. Thanks to YouTubers now though, there are some very good and helpful explanation videos if you ever need help or want to get caught up.
Kingdom Hearts Series
Final Fantasy X
Crisis Core Final Fantasy
Dead Space 1-3
Halo 1-5

I enjoy playing Destiny 2, Madden, and Ghost Recon Wildlands. My wife doesn't mind as it keeps me out of trouble and I make sure it doesn't interfere with family life. My oldest enjoys teaming up to play COD: Ghosts and Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

I have a friendly envy for your relationships. Gaming never interfered with my family life, but my wife still cannot understand it and hated it in every way.

Have been sticking with Overwatch 2 - like the fast paced games compared to some other online multiplayers.

Not long ago got addicted to Deadspace. The game is a gaming masterpiece. One of the best of its kind, my opinion, in terms of gameplay and graphics.

Victoria II - I just love it.
Occasionally dust off some classics like Panzer General 2, Master of Magic and Darklands.
I sure wish I could play Civilization II again. I have the original floppies but don't have a computer that will play it...

I often host LAN parties and we've been playing a little of everything. Satisfactory is incredibly addicting. 7 Days to Die, Arma, Civ 5 (don't really like 6) and DayZ are good PC experiences. If we're on console, we'll usually play Fallout 76, Red Dead, Ghost Recon, Borderlands or COD.
My Sony game library is out of control. Trying to go through some of the backlog. Playing Watchdogs Legion at the moment and it's terrible. Last game I finished was AC4 for the second time. I beat it when it came out on PS4 launch and it's still just as good today... best AC imo

Just downloaded Ghosts N Goblins a couple days ago and been playing that. I didn't like the look at first but when I saw it in motion it slowly changed my mind. The gameplay is all there for those wondering.

The only video game I guess you'd call it, was Everquest. My wife got into it first, and I got hooked from watching her.
Eventually, we joined a raid guild. It was fun, at first. When it got to be a "job" though, in other words you gotta be there, you gotta do what we say, and so forth, we stopped playing entirely. It's a GAME, when it stops being fun, we stopped playing it.
Just my experience. We still have some collectors editions of the various editions, and so forth. May be valuable someday.
Have fun, all!
Pat☺

I just got back into FTL and started modding Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I have played them for years but modding has been amazing. I also started to play System Shock 2 and have been loving it. The difficulty curve in old games is always good to go back to.
