Just wanted to wish everyone on here a safe and Happy Thanksgiving with your families and friends. I would also like to say I am extremely greatful for the wisdom and advice, as well as the simple fact that most everyone in this community is always willing to help each other out. Go spend some time with your loved ones and step away from the Runners! Well, just don't get caught :laugh:



(And yes, I said Thanksgiving, not turkey day or any other stupid nickname. The politically correct, sensitives can suck it! :guitar2: )

I've never heard of anyone having an issue with thanksgiving. I am not sure what you mean.

Thanksgiving is not a religious holiday.
 
You haven't heard..? Thanksgiving :hungry: celebrates the white mans conquest of the native American ppl. :blah: I always heard it was just about being thankful for being alive after facing so many hardships. And they couldn't have survived without the help of the native Americans.

Wonder if they regret that decision...:doh:
 
Anyone do a killer bird? I broke down the turkey and cooked two ways...a stove top 3 hour braise of drums and thighs in a white wine vegetable broth and then the breasts on the grill with a nice dry rub and then constantly basted with duck fat. Took about 45 minutes. Perfect juicy breasts.
