Every time I think we can't reach a new and pathetic low under Obama, we see shit like this.

Goddamn mind boggling that they try to sell it as a good thing. the only thing crazier is that your average person will read that article and won't see through the bs. People who only work for benefits now don't have to and get the same coverage. unreal.

What a complete load of BS. I guess that's the standard of journalism we can expect from such an august tabloid as the New York Times..

I guess if they shut their eyes and ears and join hands to sing kumbaya, they can ignore the realities of the actual job market.

I can think of several people I know, that have already had their hours cut from full-time to part-time. People that are not allowed to work more than 29 hours a week. Business Owner friends that have cut their workforce, or curtailed hiring, all because of looming Obamacare mandates.

So just how many people can not work, not pay for their health care, leave the work force, before you can't tax the people who get up early every day and work their asses off any more?

Obamacare has hiked up health care costs for those with good plans, canceled the plans of those who were deemed "junk" by Obama--who then have to buy plans with unnecessary crap on the exchanges, employers cut part time hours, turned their employees loose on the exchanges or taken the health care hikes out of the bottom line.

When you make something as complex and expansive as health care an entitlement, you're screwing everyone because costs will continue to go up, people will be disincentivized to work (as if they aren't already), and it's a joke that there will be another Ponzi scheme with Obamacare where the young are expected to pay into it to support the old for benefits they will never see themselves.

When you make something as complex and expansive as health care a thread on a truck forum you will end up with lots of broad "bumper sticker" ill-conceived nonsensical garbage too.

Yup. You also end up with approximately three idiots who can be counted on to get all butthurt and spew tired cliches about rednecks. It takes all kinds, huh?

It takes a village.

The end game here is the single payer system. It was designed to be complex and little hope of it really working.
