this may or may not work for the trails, etc since the individual pieces are so small. but it may work when in a pinch.



The Tread is a fully-customizable wristband (or watch, should you opt for a model with a watchface) that not only looks cool, but is extremely functional. Each link is made of corrosion resistant, injection-molded 17-4 stainless steel and features two to three functional tools that can be removed and used at a moment’s notice.

Users can remove and rearrange the links as they see fit, add new ones or remove unused links for a better fit. Even the clasp is functional as it doubles as a bottle opener and a #2 square drive. In total, you get 25 usable tools such as box wrenches and screwdrivers.

That's pretty cool. I wonder how you get the first pin out... and if it would land me on the no fly list. :(

Edit, nvm about the first question.. I get it. It doesn't come apart.

Thats pretty badass. I'm on the fence about the price, but man that is cool and a great idea.

I can imagine the conversations I would have with all the guys wearing paracord bracelets lol.
 
Pretty cool! Thanks for posting. Just got a wave for Xmas otherwise I'd be tempted. Pricey though and doesn't seem like it would to easy to use.
 
it's kinda cool but it's also kinda gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). Has a leather bar ultra-he-man bracelet look.

It looks to me like more stuff to get caught on things.

And from personal experience, anything that can get caught on something had better have a breaking point that is several seconds prior to the breaking point of the body part it's attached to or wrapped around.

Something the paracord bracelet-wearing/tacticool fashionistas apparently don't care about.

This thing looks like a watchband on steroids. And while most bracelet-type bands will break, Leatherman hasn't exactly been known to make 'weak' products.
