They found this guy dead in his car near his house, and when they went to his house found he had 1200 guns and 2 tons of ammo! Holy Crap!

They went on to say many were new in the box and still had the price tags on them. Maybe he had a dealer's license, or was into something. But man, that's a lot of MONEY!!! There were some nice rifles (w/scopes) from what I could see in the video.

And the sad thing is, the LAPD is going to destroy all of it, most likely.

Ehh, id say its just a good start.

I know a few people that have extensive gun collections, including machine guns. They own all of them legally.

i know a guy that has 20,000 to 50,000 rounds of .22 ammo at anytime. Also has two hidden gun safes built into the walls of his house. Atleast a 50 pistols.

I haven't drawn any conclusions as to whether you're just trying to be funny, or if you genuinely believe what you said.

The fact is there are Politicians who would like nothing more than to ban gun ownership for private citizens, or at least severely restrict them. After all, strict gun control laws work so well. Take a look at Chicago, for example...

Sure there are politicians trying to restrict or ban guns completely but they have no chance in doing so and the furor around it is a waste of energy IMHO. You may view things very differently than I do but after all these years of "Obama's going to take away our guns" should serve as proof it's not going to happen. Short of walking door to door with guns drawn and search warrants in hand it's simply impossible.

Not to mention if you actually read the bills that Obama tried to pass he didn't even make an ATTEMPT to get rid of guns, he just was trying to put restrictions on how much ammo you can carry on your person at one time and add-ons to guns that let them hold 40+ rounds before having to reload.

This country is us.. I don't understand why people think the government could do anything that the citizens didn't want. The police force is us, the army is us. They're all family and friends and people we all know, not some robotic drones. The government orders anything like that on a large scale all we have to say is "No". Government is just a bunch of old rich guys only with the power we give them. They're not going to take anything like that away, they just can't. The only time this country will be completely gun-free is when the entire population AGREES on it.
