So...California is rosy? Cost of living is low? Taxes are low?

I am glad that you love it there. More power to you. Good luck.

Crushing taxes, fascist anti gun laws, pro-illegal and pro-criminal politicians, mind numbing traffic, mentally ill drug addicts, it's a crime to order ammo online but not to shoot a girl on a walk with her father, weirdos, perverts, antifa, malcontents, losers, bum fortresses, tech company losers, criminal predators, apocalyptic natural disasters, high gas prices, idiot environmentalists, hepatitis A, Hollywood, Harvey Weinstein, and HIV.

It's not difficult finding data points to support Thai's sentiment but as for being the 6th largest economy...that's much more debatable and is heavily skewed by the tech industry in the US largely being based there. People are tired of the liberal bullshit and California continues to champion polarizing issues like sanctuary states. California's economy is an unsustainable bubble just like the housing market in the majority of the US was until 2008. You would think that having crappy houses that cost half a million bucks would be a problem that would resolve itself and it most likely will in time.

California
There is a big problem in this country that the politicians can't seem to handle. There are laws that are not followed. Obama was just as bad as Trump at following them. California should lose its Federal funding or go to court to try and keep it. Illegally here is an issue, get in line and follow the proper course of action. If you are caught and deported, go to the back of the line.....How is this even an issue?? The girl shot on the pier never should have happened. Anyone with a job, kids in college, paying ridiculous health care fees ect., ect., ect., should be pissed. If you have no job and pay no taxes then this is a conversation that is not your business.

We still have 75 degree weather during Christmas.
We can go to the mountain for snowboarding and the beach in the same day.

This is the reason why normal, non-liberal-wacko people such as myself stay here. The pros outweigh the cons.... at least for now.

This is great. Please articulate your view of California's economic and governmental prosperity so we can all better understand what we are clearly missing. Thank you.

Well, where I am in Cali the "beach" requires a wetsuit most of the year and snowboarding is in Tahoe. God help you if you leave on a Friday, you'll never make it in one day from the Pacifica to S. Lake Tahoe.

I left the Peoples Demokratik Socialist Republic of Kalifornia for good in 2003; Best thing I ever did.

Perfect vehicle as it stands for northern Nevada terrain. Keep it stock - it'll go most anywhere as is.
