I was born in England... came here to the states and became a citizen, but I have absolutely no desire to go back. It sucks over there.

I carry a Benchmade everyday here... normal stuff. Knives on your person is the equivalent to being armed. All you hear on the radio is about knife crimes and stabbings.

Of course they don't have gun crimes, but ur absolutely more likley to get shanked than shot.

As far as that dude defending himself... that's complete bullshit. Hopefully he has enough money for a defense because cash is about the only thing you need to really keep you out the slammer. That goes same for the states in a home defense shooting. Using deadly force is not cheap.

It baffles me how these leaders are literally wanting to make innocent law abiding people totally defenseless. It's all the more incentive for thieves to break in to someones home knowing the people cannot defend themselves.

I guarantee you burglaries will increase if this "knife control" becomes law.

Spain, Europe.
An 80 years old couple were in their house at night. Two 25-26 years old thieves broke into their house with a gun (police found out it was fake later) and wearing masks. The thieves threatened the old man with the gun in his head while they were hitting the old woman. They demanded all the old couple money. The old man went for the money but took a gun he had, he shoot the floor first to scare the thieves and after that another shoot that went to one of the thieves neck, who died.
It was self protection, of course, but the court said it was excesive reaction, and sent the old man two and a half years to prision and besides that he has to pay €20000 (around $25000) to the 'poor' mamma who couldn't do a good job rising her 'innocent kid'.

Imagine the situation guys, you and your wife at home at night, two m*therf*ckers break into your place, threaten you with a gun and hit your wife, you're extremely shocked, you take a gun and shoot to save your love one, and the judge sent you to jail because you didn't think clearly during a traumatic event, because you 'overreacted'. The world is just crazy... We should be able to defend our selves, our family and our property.

Don't give up your guns, guys, don't let them take your guns away!
