What ugly trucks or mods have you seen

Thought I would post 2 things that just didn't look right to me today while driving .

1) A Chevy Avalanche with a cap/topper on the back.

2) No offense to anyone , but a Tundra (older style) that has that goofy looking box on the back , kind of like trying to mimic a stepside pick up or ??? Looks terrible from the back end.

I've seen plenty...

There's this '06+ 4runner - titanium Sport Edition that I often see driving around the SF downtown/Embarcadero area with a ridiculously huge (we're talking total misfitting) and overly shiny full front brush guard. It utterly looks moronic and uber goofy. It's as if he hit a deer sized grocery cart and it stuck to his front end. If this is your truck and you are reading this, please take the damn thing off as it looks re****ed. I laughed so hard when I pulled up next to him that I farted in my seat.

Saw a Nissan Pathfinder on I-80 with one of those "Bad Boy" stickers in the rear window. Yeah, ok. Oh the irony of that and having an IRS vs. a solid axle in the rear.

Not a truck but I sometimes see those "Type - R" emblems on cars other than a Honda or Acura. I saw it on an older Mitsubishi Eclipse for Pete's sake!

Those lowered pickup trucks with those ridiculously small tires.

Any vehicle with Oakland Raiders emblems on it. I don't care how badass you may think or seem to think you look with them. Hey, news flash - your team SUCKS.

Sorry guys (or anyone that owns these).

1) Angel eyes, or "Halos". They're goofy looking if your car didn't come with these.

2) Altezza tailights. Another pet peeve. Everyone installs these for some reason in Socal. Yuck.

The previous Generation Sequoias has these two bumps on the tailights. I've always thought the Sequioas were great looking SUVs, but those tailights were hideous, it looked like a tumor growing out the lights.

#1 in my book is the Pontiac Aztec. I can't beleive anyone would buy a vehicle that butt a$$ ugly! I think it was only built for one year (2001). Every time I see one I'm just like WTF?? I'm like how did that design get approved in the first place and who would buy it???

The other thing I just don't get are all the Honda Civics and Acura Integras with the really loud exhaust, lowered, and a "whale tail" spoiler on the back. I always think, yeak OK, dude you have a loud exhaust and a spoiler, and maybe a chip to increase your HP a bit, but you still only have a little 4 cylinder engine under the hood.
I just don't get that.

An employee at the video store I go to has a Scion X something, the SUV wannabe with two stainless steel hoops on either side of his front bumper that make it look like the vehicle has eyebrow rings.

I have also seen lately around the house, an old Ford Taurus station wagon with a huge spoiler on the back right behind the luggage rack. The car is gold and the wing is red and stands up about 2 feet.

God I hate Altezza tail lights, they stand out like a sore thumb and are so damn ugly. How can people put those on there vehicle and actually think "Man this looks good! No joke, there are about 10 civic around campus that have the same Altezza tail lights...

That shiny/chrome-looking aluminum trim piece that is glued to the rocker panels. I've seen this on cars more than trucks or SUVs, but they look like shiat on just about anything!

Most often, it will have "Limited Edition" written in black script. The likeliest culprits will affix them to Hyundais, Sentras, Corollas or Civics. One chap in the Richmond area has "Mike's Max" on his older model Nissan Maxima. Bleech!

There is a very thin line between merely 'tacky' and 'pure ghetto' when it comes to supposedly customizing your ride. The only thing worse is the Erector Set aluminum spoiler that you bolt onto your trunk with hardware purchased from Home Depot. Of course, the spoiler will never be the same color as the car.

Whoa there buddy. I have been an Oakland Raider fan since I was born and for that reason the front tag on my 4Runner says "R8R FAN" and my hitch cover is a Raiders one. Who cares if the team sucks? They are still MY TEAM and I will show my team pride how ever I want to. Green Bay fans have been known to have their cars painted in the team colors. That's okay though because they are pretty good? It's okay for Giants fans to do whatever they want to their vehicles because they won the Super Bowl?

Don't be so ignorant.

Don't get what? My CRX makes over 300whp without the bottle. It also weighs a hair over 2000lbs, if even that much. I agree that a bunch if not most are ricer re****s, especially around here, but some of us know what we are doing. :

The Type R is SC'd with about 250hp (high 13s in the 1/4) and the Eclipse is over 350hp and ran mid 12s.

I think he means the ricer posers which there are plenty and doesn't mean all Honda 4 banger guys and like you said some of us knew what we were doing.

Dang aren't we sensitive? Sorry, no offense meant but I was just stating fact. We have buddies around here who are die hard Black Hole fans and we knock them ALL the time. They take it in stride and laugh it off and we talk smack all the time. It is sports after all and part of fandom, geez. You're free to express your loyalty to any team I'll give anyone that. But some of my buddies and I will still laugh at any Raiders fans, we're entitled to our opinions too you know.

I hate ridiculously huge wings on cars, regardless of the make or model, such as a tarus near where I live (unless it is meant to be there, like a Supra)

Everytime I see someone with one and they have their window down I yell "IS THAT A RACE CAR?!?!?!"

Saw one stuck in the snow last night. ( on his behalf it was nasty deep stuff last night ) I almost though I was going too get high centered a few times.
