Hydrohoist Dock Motor & Blower

Hydrohoist will gladly replace the blower motor for $231 plus UPS (that's with me installing it). Built-vacuum.com had it for around $100. This was after the HH guy swore to me the were custom made for them only and good luck finding one that'll work...

I understand making a good profit, covering overhead etc. but double plus AND shipping???

Oh.... Sorry, I went WAY off-topic. I am talking about the floating cradle at the boat dock that holds the boat up 'high & dry' when the boat is not in use.

Hmmmmm, interesting. How much weight does that lift support? We just spent around $8k for a lift that supports 5k lbs, and has a wakeboard tower canopy that's around 24 feet long.

I think it's a 3-3.5k capacity. It's really old and has been very good but I don't know many of the details from when it was installed (in the early 90's). All I have done is confirmed bolt tightness, replaced a few and replaced some carpet. The next motor size seem to be priced in the $150-$175 range; just FYI for when you need a motor in 10 years...

The same company that makes central vac motors seems to make these, Lamb-Ametek in spite of what the dock guys will tell you... They claim "custom for them".

If your thinking aout storing that boat in GA for the winter I have access to a higher capacity lift
