Post pics of your T4R with 20inch wheels and bigger

HRE makes those wheels and they are a custom 3 piece wheel which means they are MUCHO DENERO. Go to HRE's website... i think its www.hrewheels.com just google it if thats not it. I would think that set of wheels would be 3K for wheels alone. Yeah i agree those are some phat wheels but WAY to much money for me.

I am normally not of fan of upsized wheels on 4Runners AT ALL, but daaaaaamn your truck looks eff'n awesome!! Nice choice

Just got mine on tuesday

with TRD valve stem caps

sorry there is some mud on my tires in these pics, i'll have to take better pics when it gets warmer and I can clean it up all nice *hehe*

I cant wait til I paint my running boards silver like the limiteds...I think 4Runners look thicker in the middle with the silver limited boards

BAD ASS. You made an GREAT decesion on those wheels. Youll really enjoy them. Im really anal about cleaning and stuff, so everytime i wash the runner i do the wheels inside and out. With the wheels being how they are its very easy to get your hand back behind there and clean allthe build up off. If you do it everytime or everyother time then the wheels will look as if you just got them all the time! It looks freaking sick on the silver runner. I can wait to see it with the running boards either! What tires did you get or did i just miss it if you said it. Once again the truck look amazing. Congrats

I'm enjoying it. I have the TRD exhaust on the way and some other things (I'm a mod addict)

I didnt need 295's since I have full time 4wd...so I went with Fuzion ZRi 265/50VR20 the reviews on TireRack.com were very favorable...handling, grip, wet weather traction...so far they are great!

I havent noticed any change in the ride...IF it is a little rougher, then its not by much and it might just be in my mind

50 series on this rim still have a pretty big sidewall so it still cushions the road pretty good.

Can you do us a favor (well me personally) and take a pic of your TRD shift knob? Is it the black leather one with the TRD on the side in red?

Sure

I was planning on doing pics of ALL my mods when I was done, but I'll go ahead and get a shot of the TRD shifter

yes it is the black one with the TRD on either side...its a small, but nice change

TRD Shift Knob...I bought this on Ebay...the ad said it was for Lexus IS300's, but I've seen a pic of one on a 4Runner so I knew it would fit

He'll win. I quit my job, so exhaust and rims are even further out of my realm of possibility. I guess it depends on what I make in my next job (can't decide what I want to do) and how soon I want to start dreaming about a house.

Luxury, I hear ya bout a house

thats the whole reason for me selling my Supra (i LOVED that thing) and my 96 4Runner. My plan was/is to outright buy my 2005 4Runner (already had that saved up) then use the $$$ from the sale of my Supra and old 4Runner as a down payment on a house.

Also, since my 05 4Runner is paid for...thats another reason I can get mods easily...no car payment

so what would be a car payment goes into mods.

I'm just playin around now

I have a bunch of stuff on order that I will post pics of (japanese lights and stuff) and if i dont like them...I'll take them off *haha*

dammmm, every time I see the Enkeis it makes the decision harder, they have to be one of the best looking. I'm considering the ALT Bajas, 20x8.5, anyone have or seen them?

Thanks Northof49. I really like the how that fill the wheel well, and extend out wider. They give the 4r a wider stance.

24runners did you disable the tire pressure monitoring system, or move the valve stems, or did you have the TPMS at all?

there was no special connection from to the rim...just the lug nuts

as far as I know, the tpms works by detecting a difference in rotation between the tires and flags any tire that is different from the others

anyone wanna chime in on exactly how the tpms system works? the tpms light has not come one, so i assume there is no problem with it

I found out about Toyota's TPMS and it works as I thought.
