limited door flares moulding
is there a trick to removing these? about to paint the doors and need em off

are you talking about the flares that go on the fenders/bottoms of the doors? if so they’re held on by a bunch of clips. the front doors have a bolt that you unscrew on the inside of the door. kinda in the door jam area. i thinks there are a couple more bolts that need to be unscrewed on the rear doors and front flares as well.

no these are the actual plastic skirts on the front doors and rear doors. the rear door one integrates into a flare. i know they are held on by clips but i dont want to damage id i can help

thanks, that does help in several ways, as it helps explain how the cladding is mounted to doors, and if I keep my 2001 I need to replace a front fender, and the replacement is missing the spares....but does have the holes for it.
