Random High Idle
I am experiencing an high idle even when the engine is warmed up. It used to come and go. At one point, it would idle around 1500 rpms all the time. I have a 97 4Runner SR5. I have replaced the idle control sensor with no success. Furthermore, I replaced the thermostat and it helped for a couple of weeks. Now, it will still do the high idle when it is warm, however, it only goes to about 1200 rpms now. I know this is not right and is bad for the engine. I am open to any suggestions on what the problem might be.
