Bluto New member Feb 10, 2005 #4 Mine does as well. When the salesman was moving it so I could test drive, I thought he was an awful driver. I try to wait until it drops to 1000 before I drive. I also have my radio and heat/AC off, I turn them off when I park.

Mark86 Super Moderator Feb 11, 2005 #5 My 2003 goes that high too. If my foot isn't firmly on the brake when I shift into drive, my truck is going to take off. It feels very jumpy for around a minute.
