this cant be normal for a 94 v6. i've even got a mass air flow filter installed.

what should i be looking at? i've tried different "mix-with-gas" products (seafoam and the like) and a trick i heard about just slamming the gas for awhile to shoot out the crud from the jets. i've thought fuel filter, too, but i honestly havent been able to afford it until now. then there's the whole accessing it and depressurizing the fuel system aspect. hell, i dont even remember where it is off the top of my head.

i've gotten new plugs, dist cap, wires... all that fun stuff. the real kicker is that the k&n air filter didnt seem to make any difference at all. not to mention, mileage sucks a lot more than it should; even with the k&n.

i have little experience with carb/injector work, but that's what i'm thinking it probably is. last time i messed with the injectors, my car started on fire, so i'm looking for a little more than a "take the injectors off and put em back on later"! :p

btw, i've had the truck for almost 4 years and this is how i got it from the dealer. i'd really like to get this addressed before the snow falls.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

They're slow trucks. The V6 isn't that much better than the 22RE, and if you have an auto I'd say its a wash.

You don't have jets, you're injected. ;)
If its smooth running and you get decent gas mileage, I'd leave it alone.
