02 Climate Control Bulb

I have a 2002 SR5 (with the basic climate control knobs), and need a replacement bulb from Toyota.

I can’t for the life of me get a confirmation on a part number. I’ve searched this forum and elsewhere. Not interested in doing an LED swap as I’ll be selling it soon.

I’ve seen these mentioned for a limited climate control setup:
81850-35050
81850-35040

But again, I have the basic controls with the 3 knobs like Tacoma’s have.

I’m thinking it’s the 35050 bulb but I’m not 100%. I know the 02 needs neowedge3 based and the 35050 looks to be that way whereas the 35040 looks like the neowedge 5 type bulbs.

go to the dealer and ask them for it. they will know. give them the VIN and you will have what you want. they are the small ones in there.

Yeah that will be my final recourse. Was just hoping I could just get a part # and order it online with some other stuff I need to get without having to deal with my local grumpy-ass parts guy.

It's crazy how hard it is to track down a bulb part# online. I've been through all the Toyota diagrams and it shows the climate control but no bulbs lol.
