02 Sport skid plate??

I have the skid plate but do not have the brackets to install on my 97 4runner. Skid plate is just sitting in garage.

If OP passes, how much?

You'll want the Tacoma brackets if you are putting it on a '96-'98 4Runner - the 4Runner brackets will mount it farther out to fit the 'fat lip' bumper.

I'd suggest you do something custom at this point.

Folks - Good news here. Took my mangled (from an accident) skid plate and brackets to a good local metal works shop who proceeded to roll and put everything back in order. Praise the Man upstairs. I think I am good now. arty:

The skid plates are identical. The difference was in the brackets. The Tacoma one fits the T4R 96-98 bumper and the 4runner specific one has extended bracketry to clear the hideous fat lip bumper. I snagged the Tacoma one when they were still available (circa 2007) and paid about $120 from the dealer.
