What's in the kit (5 pieces): front skid, cat shield + transmission skid, transfer case skid, fuel tank skid, and lower control arm skids (both sides). Full Grade 8 hardware kit included.

Price (regular): $1,494.99 steel · $1,773.99 aluminum. The kit costs less than buying the five plates separately.

Quick answers
  • Fits: 2025+ 4Runner, 4WD models.
  • Hybrid or gas: pick HYBRID or NON-HYBRID when you order. The underbody layout is different, so the plates are different.
  • Material: 3/16" steel or 1/4" 5052 aluminum. The lower control arm plates are coated steel in both kits.
  • Install: 100% bolt-on, no drilling. Factory + Grade 8 hardware. About 2-3 hours, moderate difficulty. A lift and a second person help because the plates are heavy.
  • Made: fabricated in-house in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Part numbers: CR4416, CR4418, CR4420, CR4422, CR4414 (lower control arms).

Approximate weights (steel / aluminum):
  • Front: 49.2 / 20.5 lb
  • Cat shield + transmission: 31.1 / 14.6 lb
  • Transfer case: 35 / 20.5 lb
  • Fuel tank: 37.9 / 16 lb
  • Lower control arms: 15 lb (steel in both kits)
That's roughly 168 lb for the steel kit vs about 87 lb for aluminum. Steel takes hard rock hits best; aluminum saves the weight and won't rust.
