03 Limited with caliper problems

Is anyone out there aware of caliper problems for the 03 4runners. Exactly a year ago, I had to replace both rear calipers because they were sqeezing my rotors and would not fully release. Luckilly I noticed this early.

Now today, while getting my truck inspected, one of the front calipers looks as if it has been super heated and needs to be replaced.

I have about 90K on the truck. Has anyone had similar issues?

Yep, I have the same thing now on '03 T4R Limited at 92K KM. I had to replace front RH caliper because psitons were seized year & a half ago. It cost me over $300. Now RH caliper has 2 lower pistons seized & LH caliper has lower inboard caliper seized. Dealer wanted $600 for fix this - and this was a deal, they tell me!
I opted on doing it myself this time. I would have been done already, but the Auto Parts Center gave me the wrong parts. Job itself is pretty simple.

Sounds to me like this is a poor design. They're great when they work, but I'd rather have some longevity.

BTW, my rear calipers are still good, I just did the pads last weekend, pistons were not seized.
