04 4Runner Brake Rotor Replacement Questions

Hi all. I am working on replacing all 4 rotors on my wife's 04 Toyota 4Runner, V6, 4WD, SR5. I will be replacing the brake pads as well. The car has the symptoms of warped brake rotors where it is starting to shake as you brake. It is becoming increasingly worse.

Couple of questions.
(1) My tire is a size 17. Should I be ordering the 17 inch rotors?
(2) Are the brake lines fixed? If so, will this job be doable without disconnecting any lines that would later cause me to have to bleed the brakes?

Forgot to add is that, there are videos on YouTube on how to change out the brake pads. From what i can see its the removal of two pins, an anti vibrate spring and you will need a C clamp to help compress the cylinder back.

Your wife's truck might have the smaller 12 inchers rotors all around, the only way to find out is take the wheel off and measure for sure. Use some ebc green stuff 7000s up front and 6000 in the back. Will give you a cleaner wheel.

definitely agree with rice, take the time to measure, but to my knowledge the SR5 didn't come with the larger brakes. I thought it was just the sports and some limiteds

That should be correct. If you definitely have the SR5 you should have the smaller rotors. Here's a decent video for changing the pads:

Once you're that far it shouldn't take you much to get the rotors off if you've done brake jobs before.

Yupp... i have done plenty of brake jobs. Want to make sure there is nothing crazy once I pop those suckers off. I have the SR5 so I will order the 12 inchers. Recommendation on website to order from? Recommendations on pads to boot with a given rotor?
