04 Floor Mats

Got an 04 4runner and love it so far!

I am looking for black rubber floor mats and like the factory style. However they do not list a black mat for my year. I'm looking at pn PT908-89060-02, but that is only for 05-09. I called a dealer and he said they couldn't guarantee they'd fit an 04. I think it may just be because they didn't offer black mats in the year of my vehicle, but I want to be sure they will fit if I order them. Any ideas, will these fit my vehicle?

Thanks!

I was thinking exactly what GOH10 Runner was thinking.

Floor Liners are way better.

But for some reason I don't know why you would want to choose rubber mats over Floor Liners, you can always compare the 2004 vs 2005 Weathertech Floor Liners & if the part # is the same, then there's your answer. You can use Weathertech's website as a reference.

I do that on Kragen's website sometimes to cross reference.

It looks like the PN for the weathertec mats are the same for the different years.

I prefer the factory mats becuase I like the style better, even though the function may be less. I just think they look better and are more of a factory look than the others. Plus their about half the price.

Thanks for the replys.

I was actually looking into the Toyota factory all weather mats too. I called the dealer and they said they run about $99 + tax which is about the same price as the weather tech 4piece rubber floor mats set. On the other hand the weather tech floor liner is awsome. I have seen them before, but like Antodido said the Toyota one are a cheaper alternative and in my case would fit better than the $29 Michelin ones I currently have in place for the winter.

First Post here: I just picked up the Toyota All weathers on eBay for $87 including shipping from a Toyota dealer; i too was wondering about the black ones fitting a 2004 and finally pulled the trigger after researching a few sites. The listing stated 2003-2008 so i feel pretty confident in them fitting. It does seem like the black all weathers came out after 2004, but are the same fit.

Yea, I just bought a set today. Probably from the same dealer.

Good thing cause I just had to use my carpet ones to get unstuck from the snow. Haha. It was my own fault, I went in too deep of snow. Any snow where it starts hitting the underside and I'm done. Tires have 51K on them, I wonder how much of a difference that makes in the deep stuff, probably some at least.
