'04 Headlight Options

After having SpecD Halos on my '04 for a little over a year now, they're already starting to show their age. The passenger side gets moisture inside of it pretty consistently each morning and the driver side Halos appear to have gone dead. In addition to the fact that they don't handle HIDs too well, I think it's time for an upgrade.

I like the look of the blacked-out housings and I really want decent projectors so I can use HIDs effectively, so the stock housings for my year won't work. Unless there are any other options that I haven't seen before, it looks like a retrofit is my only option. I took a look at some threads detailing retrofits and I'm not sure if I feel confident in my ability to do my own. If anybody has any suggestions or has some retrofit housings to sell, just let me know!

Retrofits are really not too tough. There's enough youtube videos on it that you can probably learn a bunch of tips and how to in a couple hours, if that. I'm sure you could do it!

The 06+ headlights are direct bolt in AND there is a bolt in retrofit kit from TRS if you're worried about successfully pulling it off.

I just got my box of goodies last night, so I'll be doing my retrofitting in the next few days, I'll let you know how hard it is.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to take a look at some videos and take that TRS kit into consideration.
