I couldnt find jack on a custom/aftermarket y-pipe. I knew the stock 2" with the way toyota crams it into that secondary cat just had to go. Scott @ GT Peace did a great job using the magnaflow y-pipe but did have to hack off a decent amount of my magnaflow cat back to get that and the vibrant resonator in there.

Yesterday went pretty well. We didnt clear adaptations when I went in so whatever the ECU adjusted to on its own were the numbers we got in the first run. (which already felt pretty good to me) Once tuned I ended up with 14 more whp and 33 lb ft of torque. They adjusted the torque tables so the trans shifts faster/quicker as well. It drives and feels like a whole new truck. :banana:
Tuning Tech FS in Crofton, MD are some slick dudes. They had some software on a laptop they used to push a tune/map to the ECU. Ran a few pulls to let some adaptions take place and that was the end result.
Only issue after the tune was that the ECU needed a zero calibration done to clear the VSC lights. Brought her over to GT Peace, and 15 minutes later I was good to go. As of right now I can't stay out of the throttle and still getting a lil over 1 mpg better on the dash. Got a ~4 hour highway drive coming up Saturday so that will be the real test.

So I'm guessing ~250HP/376TQ at the crank? Wow those are some decent numbers for just headers/exhaust/tune. How much the dyno runs and tune cost? Thanks for sharing all the info! I need to get this all done soon... been putting it off for nearly a year haha.
