05 white sport 4R w/ teflon wheels

The camera is a fuji finepix S3000 It does OK, but it has a dark spot that shows in all my pics after a little over a year..... basicly when the warantee ran up, the spot started showing....

Whats the silver strip below the door? Looks like the side steps are removed but I can't figure out what the strip is.

No silver strip.. it's just optical from the lighting in the pics..
