Has anyone noticed a lack of lack of bass with the 06+ Non-JBL stereos? I just swapped out my 05 radio with one from an 06 and the bass seems to have disappeared. It is the same radio, just with MP3 instead of the cassette. Overall the music is very clear, but when I turn it up I notice the bass is very weak. I did bump my bass setting up to +2, and it improved it some but I had it at 0 with my old stereo. I tried all the inputs and it sounds the same no matter what I am listening to mp3, cd, fm..etc.

More a lack of power than anything else. Bass takes power, and these things don't have it.
They have the same amount of power as my '05 radio did. So if the speakers didn't change then two equally powered radios should produce the same sound. My '05 radio had decent bass with setting on 0 and even on bass +2 it sounds like there is no bass? I would switch back to it, but I want the MP3 player.
