07 v8 under load chirping sound

Ok I have an 07 4runner v8 2wd. I just bought this car. I have 93k on it. When I really get on the gas there is a sound that I'm worried about. Under heavy load it makes a chirping sound when changing gears. It also has a faint bearing type noise as you are accelerating. I'm just wondering if anyone has a clue on what it is or if anyone is hearing the same thing. I'm sure I didn't explain it that well. If you have questions please ask away, anything helps. Took to the dealer and they said they won't be able to diagnose it till it gets worse.

I assume it's not chirping from the tires, but if you could post a video clip of you getting on the gas, so we can hear it, it could help a lot more.

Where is the chirping coming from? It could be any number of things, the general location of the noise can help us narrow down the source and probable cause. As for the bearing noise, again we'd have to have an idea of where and when this noise is occurring.

Without the proper information the answer ranges from; a slipping belt, worn tires, failing transmission... ect ect

I will have to get a video up for you guys. It sounds like the noise is coming from the engine area. I'm sure the two noises I'm hearing go hand in hand. Sometimes even if I'm climbing up a hill I can smell something like burning rubber. A video might not catch the noise but I will have to try. I really hope it is not the transmission going out. It's not slipping and seems to shift normal. The noise as I accelerate sounds like a bearing ish noise. But when it shifts its like a screeching noise. The noise only happens while the rpm drops (shifting gears). If I had to guess its almost like a belt pulley going out. I took my car to toyota and they heard it but said without the problem happening at idle or reving motor in neutral they couldn't find where it is coming from. But this sound is driving me nuts.

I've had that same chirp ever since I've owned the truck, it only happens under WOT/heavy acceleration when the upshift into the next gear occurs. I figure it's just the engine kicking ass.

Try removing the drive belt and doing a SHORT drive to test the theory. Don't drive too long as you will be driving without a cooling fan, P/S, and Alternator output (waterpump is run off the timing belt.)

I suspect the tensioner is failing, there was an updated part for the Tundras with the same 4.7L but I don't think it was ever applied to the 4Runners as it rarely happened to those V8's
