'08 FJC springs: what's the right shocks??

I know it's been discussed gazillion of times, but I still can't get it clear for myself.

I have 2002 T4R sport. I replaced all 4 shocks with Tokico treckmasters about 50K ago. Did not replace the springs. Ride is rough, I think rougher than right after it was replaced.

My buddy offered me his original '08 FJ Cruiser's springs that have 20K on them but in good condition. And I think of replacing the shocks again with Bilstein 5100. BIL 24-249966 rear and 5100 adjustable fronts.
I'm not looking to lift it, but I wouldn't mind 1" to 1.5" if the FJ's coils would raise it that much. As my rear begins to sag.

My question is: if I install '08 FJC springs that according to few threads here would raise the truck about an 1", what would be the correct shocks to install with them?

I was using those exact springs on mine. They gave me about 1.5” lift, 21” from my SR5 mini fender flares to middle of hub. I was using the 5100s for tundra, 2nd notch from bottom, on the front and for 4Runner on the rear. The ride is pretty good. Feels great on the road since it’s pretty firm but a little stiff on smaller bumps off-road.

can you explain why did you use 5100 for Tundra in the front and lifted it to the second notch (I assume to compensate for springs lift?), but why Tundra and not 4Runner?

What shocks on the rear: also Bil 5100?

I currently have the 3rd Gen specific 5100s for the front (first notch) and rear. They pair very well together. I’m pretty sure that the OEM Tokicos woild also be nice.

I chose the tundra shocks because I do some higher speed stuff down in Baja and they handle whoops and g-outs better when I hit them going a bit too fast. And I’m on the second notch because I like the runner as level as possible. I’m running a trim packer on each side of the rear too which is about 1/2” more lift. I have the 4Runner 5100s in the back. All in all it’s a pretty good setup for the price and doesn’t require a bunch of additional work to be done
