1 million miles on a 2007 Tundra!
It looks like the 2UZ-FE engine (same engine in the 4th Gen 4Runner) but he said the timing "chain" was changed only twice. I thought 2UZ-FE's had timing belts, at least I know the 4Runners do. Are there versions with timing chains? 1,000,000 miles is outrageous!

It's crazy that most of those miles were spent towing and/or hauling oil equipment. Pretty awesome that all of the maintenance was done at the same place too.

I've re-watched the video several times, just amazing. I think that 4.7 is just a KILLER motor. I have one in my L/C and its not hype at all, if just keeps on going.

Consequently, I'm in the market to replace the Avalon I have now and am moving into either a Tundra or another 4R (cant let my wife have the only 4R, right?). I drove a NEW Limited Tundra yday and it was amazing. Finding a parking spot in Los Angeles with it may be a problem, but its one heck of a truck. If I didn't travel to LA for a living I'd be all over it.

You just cant stop a yota. I mean short of 50. BMG through the block. Other than that. Just tanks. My fav is the hilux on top gear that got thrashed on

At 400K on 07 Tacoma and thought I was up there

Other than fluids and brakes fronts at 250k and rear at 330K I wouldn't be afraid to jump in and drive across country. All major service at Dealer, majority by me. Glad to see this on a Tundra, I may have to jump in to a bigger truck.
