Has anyone installed the burtman drop springs?? Any goods or bads?? I was thinking of getting a set and putting them on w/ my 17" sequoia limited rims. I still want to run on rough roads and light trails, but as you can tell by my avitar I have a wheeler.

That might cause some rubbing. what are your tires' size? I was told as a fact that my 265/70R16 would rub with a 1" drop.

I really doubt this because the total suspension movement range is not changed and you still have stock sized tires. If this was true, then if the 4Runner was loaded with gear, the tires would rub...which doesn't make sense. With stock sized tires, the tires should never rub within the range of suspension articulation. The only thing that would change is that you would lose 1 inch of upward suspension travel, but gain that 1 inch on the downward suspension travel. The loss of upward suspension travel will make make you bottom out the suspension more. If you shorten the bump stops, THEN you have a chance of rubbing. Also you would need an alignment after the drop since the camber of the front would change.

I don't have stock tires, and they already rub as it is when I fully turn the wheel.

Last I checked on the 1" drop springs they were no longer available. Performanceproducts.com changed their business and discontinued carrying them. Burtman bought from the same manufacturer out of Japan(I was told) but the manufacturer went out of business so that route was a no go. I ended up going with stock replacement springs but wish I hadn't. For the money they kinda suck. OME springs are only available with lifts, no stock ride height or drop, FYI
