100K Today

I hit the 100,000 mile mark today coming back from lunch. 8.5 years and still going strong.

The only other car I owned that went over 100K was a 1987 Nissan Pulsar. That car started falling apart and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. The 4Runner, however, I feel like I'm going to enjoy for another 100,000 miles.

Awesome! Ours will be rolling over 100K this month and will be 2 months shy of 8 years old. I have done nothing but routine maintenance since purchasing new and it runs as good today as the day we picked it up. Like you I am sure it will easily go another 100K without question. It has been so good to us we have decided to keep it until the wheels fall off Never put 100K on one personally before so this will be a first. :trophy:

I bought my 06 December 19th of 09' with 47k on it. I'm at 68,xxx now.....it'll be another 3 years before I make 100k!

Anyone who buys their car brand new and keeps it for 8+ years and doesn't plan on selling it totally rocks!

I'd do the same if I were single. ;-) Wifey hates cars. Thinks their these ridiculous depreciating assets...Just think how hard it is convincing her to do mods on the car...

Actually, she did approve my recent Daystar spacer lift install...

I'm in, 106K today

It's not worth $much compared to how much I value it. Few small parking lot dents, some rock chips in the paint, sparkelly windshield, driver seat leather failures, a little front wheel bearing noise...
Keeping it for a while longer. May have to have it crushed and melted when gasoline gets to $10/gallon and I retire in a couple years and can't afford to feed it. There's really nothing on the market that interests me that is under $50K. And that is way too much for a vehicle, for me anyway.
