12V port in the center console. Can we make it constant?

So i noticed that the 12V power supply in the center console is ignition regulated.

Is there an easy way to convert it to 12V constant power? I don't' really want to rewire it, but was wondering if there is a trick that someone has done at the fuse block? I have tried the search feature to no avail.

The easiest way(IMO) would be to remove the relay and hardwire it, like so...

I used that very write up / guide and it was very easy to do.

I can't swear to it, because mine is in the shop at the moment, but I did the Cig lighter mod to mine, to add a 2nd DC port, and I think the Cig lighter port is always on. Maybe someone else who did this mod can chime in to either confirm or deny this.
