Care to share you maintenance history? Planned or unplanned?
Oil changes every 10,000 miles. Amsoil and synthetic oil filter.
Timing belt and water pump replacement every 95,000 miles.
All maintenance at dealer and per schedule, other than above.
Warranty:
O2 sensor very early in ownership.
Dash at about 300,000 miles.
Transfer case rebuild because of error in manufacture early in ownership.
What I have paid for:
Left front and right rear wheel bearing.
Recently had transfer case seal replaced. Probably because of the above rebuild. Easily done without removal.
Couple of half shafts because of torn boots from so much off-roading.
Recently replaced steering rack.
Ball joints - Easier and less money to replace whole lower control arm.
V8 valve cover gaskets.
Ignition coils recently replaced.
Replaced front calipers with quality aftermarket for upgraded performance.
Number of brake disk and pad replacements. New disks are better than letting someone screw-up grinding them. Slotted and drilled ones used now.
Number of batteries.
A/C relay - Simple replacement.
All bulbs are now LED except DRL/Turn.
Front seat covers replaced when worn with new OE fabric.
Number of different floor mats.
Other Good Items:
Donahoe, now Icon, suspension front and back. Did this very early. 3" lift. 70s for tires over the 65s it came with.
Total Chaos Upper Control Arms
I have a 3rd front coil over, to allow for replacing/rebuilding one at a time while still using car as daily driver. Rebuild about every 100,000 miles.
Added RideRite airbags to rear coil springs. Levels car when carrying motorcycles on back. (Note: V8 has 730 pound tongue weight capacity.)
Routed exhaust to behind the right rear wheel to keep exhaust from coming into the open rear window and increase the departure angle. Required removal of the resonator and added stainless pipe.
