Front & rear differentials, transfer case. And I'd consider a transmission fluid flush.
Depends upon what has been done up to now. At 125K, I changed out the serpentine belt (2nd change), idlers, water pump, t-stat, radiator, all hoses, transmission flush and fill, transmission filter, oil and oil filter, plugs (2nd change), differentials and transfer case fluids and some other more minor maintenance items. This is an 03 that I've owned since new with regular maintenance. Everyone picks a mileage at which to do all these things, hopefully not waiting for a water pump to fail, overheat the engine and blow the head gaskets. I fear losing the all too common #6 cylinder so try and keep everything as current as humanly possible.
How may miles do you have now?....did you elect to replace the water pump?
Was told transmission fluid is lifetime?
Done at 100K. Was told transmission fluid is lifetime?
Brakes done at 94K replaced at 117K *****ed at dealer about that now at 150K brakes are fluttering again....granted pulled a trailer from San Diego last year and Seattle is a pretty hilly city....originals lasted 90K miles....pretty terrible the replacement OEM pads that Toyota put out.
They will inspect hoses, belts battery was replaced at 120K on original.
Hello Alaskaman, I just wanted to chime in and state that for severe use Toyota recommends 60k on the driveline fluids (tranny, diffs, t-case). A lot of the users here would agree that is a safe interval if you are offroading or towing. I have a thread here that discusses tranny oil lab analysis, among others that would pop up in a search. I would ad that you should get your drive shaft greased and torqued, an often forgotten part of regular service.
other questions that come to mind:
Last time you had an alignment and tire rotations?
Battery age and discharge test?
Cheers,
Tim
Brake flush gave more push to the brake pressure brakes are at 7 front and 4 rear. They suggested doing the radiator hoses upper and lower a little soft but not urgent (quoted $600.00) which is very high but I don't work on cars I repair people...
