15''s on my 3rd gen

Im aware that 15''s wont fit on 4runners that were equipped with 16''s from the factory. So far the options are grinding the caliper, replacing with brakes from a 2wd 4runner, or spacers.

I dont want to grind, i dont want to replace, so im gonna go with spacers. Can anyone with experience tell me how big of a spacer i would have to run in order for the rim to clear the bigger calipers? Thanks in advance, 98P.

He is in hawaii guys, they only make 20" wide wheels in 15's... lol.

Double check your brake set up. The 4Runner I had left the lot with stock 16s when the PO bought it new. Only after I investigated did I realize it originally shipped with 15s..the 16s were a dealer installed option. There may be hope for you yet, small chance but still.

I already have 16"s, I want to run 15x20 rims. I think the 16x9 look sorta So Gay

By the way, I cant put the 15" rim on and check for myself because i dont have the rims yet. So anyone who is currently using spacers to clear 15"s, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Running a 1.5" spacer and a 3.75 backspacing. I had to shave a credit card thickness off to fit. Very easy 20 minutes just do your homework on rim measurements. GL

Why? When i put on a 9" lift, my 4runner wont flip over.

Right on thank you. So if the backspacing is pretty massive, i might not have to use that big of a spacer.
