16" Wheels on 2007 SR5?

Hey everyone - I am sure this is covered somewhere, but my search attempts didn't seem to find much (sorry if I missed it). But my question is...will 16" wheels fit the 2007 SR5 4WD? I have found some threads (not on this site) saying that they won't. Just curious as I'd like to go with those wheels if at all possible. Also, what back spacing would I want to look for?

Thanks gurus!

From my understanding, all sr5 models have the small brakes that allow 16" wheels, all sports have the big brakes and have to run 17" or bigger, and the limited you just have to look at the casting on the caliper or measure the rotor to know what size your brakes are then know what size of wheel you run. I'm pretty sure I'm correct saying on saying that only sr5s came specd for 16" wheels even tho many came with 17" wheels.
In your case you are good to put on 16" wheels because you have a sr5.

For bone stock? Or you want some poke?

Ideally I'd lose the spacers, so having them out a bit. I am currently running with ICON 2.0 with ICON upper control arms and 275/70/17's with the 1.25" spidertrax spacers. Looking to possibly go down to 16"s and run 285/75/16 tires.

Im running that size on a stock 16x7" with spacers, i think a common back is 4.5 to clear the uca and sit flushish

I run this setup just fine but you might have to do a body mount chop. Well maybe not with stock rims but with the backspacing I have I did.

Edit: body mount chop is due to tire size
