I bought my 4Runner with 159,000 miles on it which to SOME would be ridiculous but when it comes to a Toyota it's not so crazy. I know my 4Runner will last MANY more miles & so far it has not disappointed! I currently have 165,000 on the truck & I'm looking fwd to 200,000! It has fresh oil & runs like a champ!

I don't what manufacturer it is...maintenance is the key. You could have the best designed and built vehicle in the world - but if it wasn't maintained properly then it won't last.

Sounds like it was maintained well. Keep it up and keep driving. 300k is not out of reach. My 05 has just over 260k miles...and still runs GREAT.

I agree with Mike but somethings like recalls do effect the vehical along with service bulletins that often people dont get done because they don't know.
I used to be a chevy guy all the way but know I would never own one again or at least a newer one because of there cooling systems mostly, now a classic that is different.

Good point about service bulletins and recalls.

I was a GM/Chevy man for 20 years. My 84 GMC pickup was my LAST chevy. GM needs to make a lot of changes in order for me to buy one again.

Getting close to 184K, no issues other then a loose heat shield above muffler I need to fix. Great truck, gonna go the distance with this one.
